PROSPECTUS  2001-2002
Introduction:-

Education has to be oriented towards the development of the intellectual, physical and spiritual qualities of the young minds. The object of the school is to develop the physical, mental and spiritual qualities of the child by experience faculty members, who are fully conversant with the modern teaching methodology. The approach will be student oriented. This educational Institution in the heart of T.Nagar has taken bold step in the right direction with a right purpose.

Nature:-

ours is a co-educational Institution Recognised by the Government of Tamilnadu. It has classes I to X std. The school also has a kindergarten section with Pre K.G., L.K.G. and U.K.G. Classes.

Curriculum:-

The medium of Instruction is English with Hindi and Tamil offered as second language. The curriculum consists of English, Language, Mathematics, History, Geography, Science (Physical and Biological). The syllabus followed is based on the latest Matriculation Syllabus framed under the New Education Policy.

Co-curricular activities:-

Provision is made for participation of students in a number of extracurricular activities like Debates, Elocution, Quiz, dramatics, Dance, Music, etc., both at school and inter school level. Competitions are held every year and prizes are distributed to the winners. Dance, Hindi, Music, Yoga, Drawing and Key Board are taught at extra hours.

Age rules for Admission:-

Pupil seeking admission into L.K.G. should complete 3 years and for admission to I standard 5 years of age, as on 31 July f that year. 31st July will be the reference date for all classes. Age rules will not apply in other standards for pupils who seek admission with transfer certificate from recognised schools, provided they have proper orders of exemption from the operation of age rules by the competent authority. age rules will apply for students coming from unrecognised private schools. The original birth certificate should be attached with the application in the case of students who are under aged. Transfer certificate issued by states other than Tamilnadu should bear the counter signature of the inspecting officers of the concerned state.

School Timings:-

School will function from 9.15 a.m. to 3.40 p.m. with a short interval of 10 minutes and lunch break of 30 minutes.

School Functions:-

Founder's Day, Children's Day, Sports Day and School Day are celebrated in a fitting manner. Every opportunity is provided to the talented children to display their skills in sports and games, fine arts and academics.

Evaluation of Student's Performance:-

Periodical Evaluation is done to test the students performance. progress Reports are sent after every test/examination to parents. Parents are always welcome to meet the Principal regarding their children's educational accomplishments.

School Library:-

There is a commendable collection of books in Tamil, English and Hindi in our school library. Periodicals and magazines in Tamil and English are subscribed for.

School Uniform:-

Uniform is compulsory in the school. Prescribed uniform for boys and grils.

L.K.G.:-

BOYS:- Yellow Red, Blue checked half sleeved shirt and Maroon half pant, Black leather shoes and white socks.

GIRLS:- Maroon pinafore dress with yellow, red, blue checked shirts (half sleeved) Black leather shoes and white socks. Hair to be tied in two plaits with black ribbon.

U.K.G. To Std. V:-

BOYS:- Brown and White stipend half sleeved shirt. Chocolate brown half pant. Black leather shoes and white socks.

U.K.G. To Std VII:-

GIRLS:- Chocolate brown pinafore dress with brown and white striped shirts (half sleeved) Black leather shoes and white socks. Hair to be tied in two plaits with black ribbon.

Std. VI - X Std:-

BOYS:- Brown and white striped half sleeved shirt. Chocolate brown full pants, Black leather shoes and white socks.

Std. VIII to X Std:-

GIRLS:- Brown and white striped half sleeved kameez, Chocolate Brown colour churidhar. Chocolate brown Thuppatta. Black leather shoes. Hair to be tied in two plaits with black Ribbon.

Games uniform on Monday only for classes:-

I to V Std:-

BOYS:- White shirt (Half sleeved) white half pant. White canvas shoes with white socks.

I  to VII Std:-

GIRLS:- White pinafore dress with white half sleeved shirt. White canvas shoes with white socks. Hair to be tied in two plaits with white ribbon.

Std. VI to X Std:-

BOYS:- White half sleeved shirts white full pants. White socks white canvas shoes

Std. VIII to X Std:-

GIRLS:- White half-sleeved kameez, white churidhar, White Thuppatta white canvas shoes and white socks. Hair to be tied in two plaits with white ribbon.

Following certificates to be produced compulsorily during the time of Admission:
