Skin facts
The skin protects you rain or shine, always there as an effective cover
for all
the millions of cells , that work all the time. From top to bottom, they
are there for you. A bruise, a scar, a wound is all borne by the skin.
Look after it well, and it will glow beautifully.
In addition the skin reflects your emotions , fear makes
it pale, cold, clammy, while blush is an unmistakable sign of embarrassment.
Body skin takes good care of its self. Surprisingly superficial dirt does
not interfere with the skin's proper functioning - it does not for instance,
prevent sweat being released, nor does it block the hair follicles. Any
proteins, vitamins or other nutrients applied directly to the skin are
not absorbed by it beyond the outermost layer.
Skin Parts: The different layers that
go in to making up this god given shield.
Skin Growth: How does growth occur and
how some common problems happen.
