When you have decided that a cat is the ideal pet for you here’s what you do when you need to pick the right kitten. Where there is a litter of kittens look for one that is playing in the center of the litter.

 It is believed it shows good health and a friendly disposition. A kitten can be safely removed from its mother’s care in eight weeks or two months so make sure you keep that in mind. 

A kitten’s eyes are the last to develop. Only after 10 days does a kitten’s eyes open so until then, I recommend that you put her in a dark place. A cat makes the perfect house pet because they will be affectionate when you are around but they are independent creatures so you really do not have to worry too much when you are not around.
