Breathing Exercises

Understand your body

Physical movement is still central to the way most of us life our lives. You probably have no idea how many times you get up from your chair each day, because it is something that happens so often, yet this simple act uses over 200 different muscles and is a miracle of balance and coordination. Our bodies have a huge capacity for flexibility and movements, but as we are growing up we rarely exploit this. One reason is that our modern lifestyles inhibit our natural range of movements . Our use of cars means that we walk much less than our grandparents did, and like any other machine , our body will break down if it is neglected.

Relaxation
Doing nothing , simply letting your mind and body find a natural and calm state - does not come easily to many of us. It is difficult to leave the stresses of daily life behind us even for few minutes. There are techniques however to release our thoughts and center ourselves. A relaxed state enhances the effectiveness and pleasure of exercise.

Exercises increases the body's demand for oxygen. This is why you breathe faster and deeper , especially during aerobic exercise like swimming or running. Your breath is a barometer of how difficult you find the exercises, you should aim to keep your breathing deep and natural throughout your workouts. Due to the calming effect of these exercises, you can use them any place and any time, if you find yourself in a stressful situation the wave breath can help you relax without anyone noticing what you are doing.
