i have acnes in my face...they leave some blackheads after some time..can u suggest a face pack of cream sort of thing...  aarthy , 19 , 6/21/2001

Hi Aarthy I have sugested some home treatments that might help reduce your acne and blackheads.... The orange peel is valuable in the treatment of acne. The peel, pounded well with water on a piece of stone, should be applied to the affected areas. The lemon has also proved beneficial in removing pimples and acne . It should be applied regularly. A teaspoonful of coriander juice, mixed with a pinch of turmeric powder, is another effective home remedy for pimples and blackheads. The mixture should be applied to the face after thoroughly washing it, every night before retiring. If you have a serious case of acne pls. consult a doctor immediately. Pls note that NEVER squeeze blackheads or whiteheads, it may cause infection and can leave scars. To remove them, go to a good beauty therapist.You can find more informtion on how to avoid acne and other skin problems. Take Care :)

I am darkn and even though i have used THE TURMERIC -SANDALWOOD FACEPACK it had no affect.Please help.  Swetha , 12 , 6/4/2001

Hi Shwetha, The tumeric and sandalwood facepack i had mentioned earlier takes at least 4-5 months to actually see the effets. For more immediate improvements you could try..... 1. You can make a paste of the cream of milk, haldi & honey and apply all over face & body & leave for a while before having a bath. This will help your skin to look fresh & glowing & a shade lighter. 2. Soak almond and remove their skin.Then crush the almonds with millk and apply this paste on your face before you go to sleep at night.Wash off in the morning with coldwater, you can see an improvement in 15 days. Follow these treatments to increase fairnes .Take care and keep smiling:)

i've small cat hairs above my upper lips and almost all over my body. how can i avoid this.i wish want to use natural treatment since my skin is allergic to losions etc.please help me  vaishu , 14 , 6/2/2001

Hi Vaishu Thanks for writing. You ould get rid of the cat hairs by using a chemical belach but as you are allergic to chemicals, you could try using tumeric on the areas where you have excess of hair unwanted hair. Take care and let me know if you have any other problems :)

Hi Sara, It is always best to check such things out with a doctor. Here are some herbal remedies that might also help The best cure for under eye dark circles is applying cucumber slices over the dark areas. This has helped reduces the patches. You could also place chilled used tea bags over your eye to do away with the patches. I am not sure about any dermatologists in Hydrebad, as I am Chennai based. But you could look it up in the Yellow Page. If you are in Chennai pls. let me know and I could recommend some good dermatologist for you in Chennai.Take Care :)
