Good Manners

Good manners are simply consideration for other people. If you think about other people and
imagine how you would feel yourself if you were in their shoes, you will become more careful of
the way you behave and of the things you say.

Try not to bore friends...
Friends  will not always want to listen to a detailed description of you skill in
dancing or swimming, or to accounts or your illnesses or to details of how much money you have to spend. Be a good listener, and look interested when you are listening

Good manners mean more than merely saying "please" & "thank you"...
Although gracious forms of  speech are very important, it does not end there. If you have good manners, people will know that they will feel at ease in your company because they will know that they will not be made uncomfortable by anything you do or say . Courtesy, politeness and concern for other peoples feelings, should show in everything you do.

Remember...
Thank people for gifts or cards, to answer letters promptly, and to congratulate or
comfort others in their success or disappointment.
